Making Life Size Gingerbread Houses December 20, 2008

My Y/A ward did this breakfast thing, on December 20, 2008 and then we built
life size Gingerbread houses... It was insane.. The Bottom one
was built by another group and Their's was called
Holly La Grande Hotel.. The Top Picture also has Bishop's
grandaughter inside the house. She loved it so much that
We let her take it home with her.. Ariel, Rachel Jennifer and Sabrina
also contributed to the house I Help build.. It was such a fun idea and great way to see
how creative we could get..

Hae and Oaklee Playing in the Snow December 14, 2008

" Do Anything, but let it produce Joy."
~ Henry Miller

Hae and Oaklee Decided to Play in the Snow at my Parent's house.. I think that they were having too much fun.. I decided to go out and take some pictures of them Playing.. One thing that was missing was snow pants.. Oh well! At least they had their heavy coats, hats and gloves on... My mom and dad were getting the biggest kick out of them playing... It was very cold today... I was going to go play but I decided to take pictures instead... I was trying to get them to build a snow man but they were to busy playing in it..

My Pre-schoolers playing outside on the playground November 2008

These are a few of my pre-schoolers that I teach.. One of my pre-schoolers decided that he wanted to push these two children on the swings.. I kept asking if he wanted a turn.. He told me no he rather push these friends instead.. I thought that was amazing.. He has really come far in social developement and is doing amazing.. These two children love to swing and if there is an oppurtunity to have someone push them, then they really take advantage. All the children I teach love to be outside and enjoy playing and interacting with eachother...

New York October 29-November 2, 2008

New York October 29-November 2, 2008

Here are some Photos that I took In New York, that I uploaded from my Phone.. When I get the rest of my Film developed I will Post them..

" We shall cease from exploration and the end of all exploration will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time." ~ T.S. Elliot

I went with my Family to New York for Nana Bea's Birthday.. It was awesome!!! I am so glad that she decided to pick New York for her birthday.. I have not been in the city for ten years.. So I jokingly said "hey it's my ten year anniversary!" I know I am funny.. Anyway I love New York I have never been there in the fall, so it was fun.. Nana Bea's Birthday is on Halloween so that makes it even more fun... We went to the Village for her birthday and ate at this little restaurant and we also had our own Private room, so that was awesome!!!! Every year the Village has a Halloween Parade.. I am not sure how long they have done it for but it was awesome to see the most craziest costumes. There were many places that we went that I had never seen before such as Ellis Island, Rockefeller Center and Central Park.. Central Park in the fall is absolutely gorgeous.. Ellis Island was a very neat experience. My mom showed my some of our family names on the wall... that was amazing.. I took tons of pictures everywhere that we went.. I think that I ended up with 8 rolls of film... Another thing that we did was see a play on Broadway called "In the Heights." The play was amazing it is a lot like Westside Story.. Except the people were from Costa Rica.. The music was a mixture of Hip Hop, Pop, Classical and Rock.. The main male Lead Composed the whole play.. He is a genius... Over all it was a great trip..

I think that the yellow ones and pink ones might be daises but not sure though... I am glad that I went up there with friends to take pictures...

Flowers July 2008

Flowers I Took Pictures of at Nana Bea's House In Beverly Hills July 2008

When I was visiting my Grandma (Nana Bea) in Cali, I took pictures of these flowers in her Backyard.. They are so Gorgeous. I really have never noticed them or maybe it is because usually when we are in Cali it is October or November, so the flowers are obviously are not in bloom.. I am so glad that I took pictures of these flowers it is amazing how beautiful nature can be if you take the time to really appreciate it..

The Infamous Bergie August 2008

Bergdorf

Bergie is Funny.. She is actually my parents dog, they are very protective of her... As Brad would say that " He loves His dog Buddy something fierce!" well my parents definitely feel the same about Bergie... She is way cute and way fun to have around she is for sure one of a kind.. She gets into everything and anything I think that she will stay in "puppy mode" forever it seems.. Sometimes like her we all don't want to grow up or grow old but that is life in the fast lane... Some People have children and some people have pets and call them their children.. She is like a child to them not that they don't have my sisters and I but then again we are not around that much so that makes it easier.. My parents are funny we all went to Cali in July to visit my grandma and they drove so they could take her, however my sister and I fly, there was no way I was going to drive that far.. Any way I just thought I would share this with everyone..

I am glad that we were able to go.. The waites which is Erin's Mom and Dad and little sister Liz came up to it was way fun.. The center picture is Erin (Chad's wife) and Rachel .. One the left that is Chad he is one of my best friends I actually introduced him to Erin so they are married now because of me he he.. On the Right that is the cute waite family.. Liz and I are both obsessed with the Twilight series it was awesome to have a huge discussion with her.. It is so crazy to think that I knew her years ago when Erin, Staci and I were in Sorority together she has grown up so much.. Mary is the mom and the most amazing person in the world and has a great sense of humor.. Over all we had a blast we wished that we could have stayed longer..

This Game was Awesome!!!! this year is the celebration for the Dodgers since they came from Brooklyn in 1958.. It was an awesome game they won by 1 run.. My dad thought it was going to be a shut out but I told him that he jinxed the team because he said that.. Anyway We had tons of fun at the game I am glad that we came this year just for that reason alone and of course it was my idea to take a trip to Cali to visit Nana Bea (my grandma).... We recieved free Bobble Heads as we walked in the gate the really nice ones that are breakable it was of Brad Kenny he was the all star pitcher of 2006... Of course did the wave and the traditional chants but those are spoken in Hush Tones Shhh... and don't forget the Belting out of Take me out to the Ball game...
