Fun Swimming Pictures of
My Mom and I swimming with
My Nieces July 23,2011

"The only way to get through life is to
laugh your way through it." ~Sister Majorie Hinckley

My Mom and I went swimming with Haelee, Sadie, and Oaklee on Saturday the 23rd. It was hot and fun. We had gone swimming the day before with Elizabeth my oldest sister who is also their mom. She wanted to work on her tan lol!! I didn't bring my big camera down so I took these pictures with the camera on my phone. They actually turned out pretty good. My mom told me that I couldn't post this picture of the three of them on Facebook, so I decided to blog it instead, she will never know MUWAHAHA!! I didn't think that I was going to go swimming that day because of being in the heat the day before. I am glad I did. I would have to say that it was in the 90's and very hot, blah! I wished the water was a little bit colder!  Oh well! *SIGH* We swam for at least 2 hours, maybe more, I was so done with swimming for a while, after this. Later I found that part of my shoulders and arms were burnt!! HELLO! I had SPF 50 on. Maybe I needed a SPF 100 :( oh well! Again I *SIGH* The best thing about this swimming adventure was the my niece Oaklee was very brave! She swam in the Big pool, instead of the baby pool. She used a tube of course, but hey she still did it all by herself. Eventually she got so brave that we didn't even need to be in the pool with her, especially when she was jumping off the side of the pool!! Sadie Haelee and I also had swimming races, which was fun. Below are a couple of more pictures that I took of us swimming. The one of Haelee and I with our goggles is my Facebook profile Picture, how crazy is that!!

Ogden Temple March 31, 2011

Ogden Temple
March 31, 2011
(These Pictures were taken with my Camera Phone)

"Until you have entered the house of the Lord and have received all the blessings which await you there, you have not obtained everything the Church has to offer. The all-important and crowning blessings of membership in the Church are those blessings which we receive in the temples of God."
~Pres. Thomas S. Monson,  The Holy Temple, A Beacon to the World.
Conf. Ensign April 2011

The Ogden temple is getting a whole new look to it and will be completed in 2 years!! I can't believe that we have to wait that long, but it will be awesome to see what it will look like when it is done. My friend Reb and I decided to go do a session at the Ogden Temple, which we actually ended up doing inititories instead of a session because we took too long taking pictures. Before we went in the temple we walked around the temple grounds and took pictures. I didn't have my regular camera with me so I took these pictures with my camera on my phone, which they turned out pretty good!! The Temple grounds at the Ogden temple are so beautiful. I feel very blessed that we went and did some temple work, before the temple closed. After we were done doing some temple work we took a couple more pictures of the temple, including one of us together, because that is so Reb LOL!! It was a very fun night!!

A Bird Adventure, Featuring A Mother Robin With Her Babies

  A Bird Adventure
 Featuring A Mother Robin
With Her Babies
Spring 2011

One Day I walked past the upstairs window and noticed a bird's nest on the window ledge. After seeing this I was in awe knowing that a Mother Bird and her babies would be there in that nest, and that I would be able to see this unfold. My Mom and Dad were also in awe of this. Every day we would walk by and check to see how the Mother Bird was doing. My Mom put a pillow in the window to give the Mother Bird her privacy. Then one day there were Three Baby Robins in the nest. These three baby Robins were so small and sweet. Everyday The Mother Bird would come and feed them behind the Father Bird would follow and clean up the baby bird poop, I thought that this was funny! Eventually I was able to take pictures of these baby Robins. This has been a really neat experience from when the nest was built to seeing the baby Robins be born. I feel really blessed to have witnessed one of Heavenly Father's beautiful creations. I hope you enjoy the photos.
